Very lazy and an update.

I am back! This time I promise I will update at least once a month, maybe more often.

Many things happened in the last few months. My gamerscore went up a "little" bit, I cemented my third place on the Portuguese Xbox 360 leaderboards, I had access to an American (NTSC) xbox, I now have my Windows Phone 7 scoring a lot and, last but not least, I got married. Who said gamers don't have a life? lol

Compared to 3 and a half years ago, my stats are truly mind-boggling:

Games Played: 529
Achievements Gained: 8,069
Games Completed: 108
Percentage: 51,61% (poor, I know...)
Country Rank: 3 (Portugal)

In the meantime, I have managed to amass a collection of over 250 Xbox 360 games, over 200 Xbox Live Arcade games, over 20 Games For Windows Live Games and almost all Windows Phone 7 games.

All of that cost quite a bit of money, hard earned, but everybody should have a hobby. Mine is gaming.

I still see many people hacking gamerscore and pirating games. Those people should have their consoles crushed and made to play PlayStation 3 for the rest of their lives... hehe

Just a quick list of the games that I have been playing:

And many, many more.

I started with PC games because I finally have quite a powerful laptop, an Acer with a Nvidia GeForce GT240M 1GB GPU, which is pretty much capable of running anything I throw at it, even Crysis...

But... there is nothing like playing on the Xbox 360, the party chat and generally the experience is just different.

I will be getting the Windows 7 phone sometime this month so I will be able to score on three different platforms, which is cool, I think.

I have 1000G'd WRC 2010 this week, anice game all around, a bit rough around the edges but good nevertheless with a very good online mode. I was the 9th registered user of www.trueachievements.com to finish it which is excellent... maybe I played too much :-).

I haven't been scoring a lot latelly, with the new racers and all, which means that I am not playing all these crappy kiddies games gor gamerscore but I am actually enjoying my gaming and I am planning to start playing some of the games I have at home.

For now that's all.

50,000 gamerscore.

Today, June the 6th (D-Day), I finally reached 50K gamerscore.

I bought my Xbox 360 on December 17 2007 as I got rid of my original Xbox and it took me a while to get going, achievement wise, but once I got into the rhytm...

I was playing Night at the Museum 2, a very easy game to get the full 1000G.

I was supposed to get the 50K while playing FUEL, but my pre-order did not arrive which made me quite upset as I was looking forward to it.

Since January 1st I have scored over 23,ooo gamerscore while in the preceding 12 months I score 27,000.

I had to endure games like My Horse and Me 2 and Open Season but it was worth it!

This are my new rankings.
I have completed Baja 1000 but Fable 2 got new achievements which I still have to do.

1500GS left for the 50.000 mark.

I now only need less than 1500 gamerscore to get to the 50K mark.
I'll be on holidays from next week on for two weeks so I think I'll be getting 50K in July only.
I have been playing a mixture of good and bad games, easy and hard, and the achievements keep popping up, 2000 so far to be exact.

My target of 60K towards the end of the year is still on and with Hannah Montana and Night at the Museum still to play, it should be quite easy to get there.
